GS-Sign: Certified safety

The leeding safety an quality mark in europe

Since its initiation 1977, the GS-sign developed to a worldwide acknowledged safety sign.
Background for the GS sign is thegerman law for equipment and production (GPSG - Geräte- und Produktionsgesetz).

Products are allowed to display the GS-sign ("Geprüfte Sicherheit – Certified Safety") if:

  • a model of the product is checked and certified that it is up to the safety standards of the GSPG by a accredited and independent verifying and certification authority
  • the verifying and certification authority controls that the introduced duplicate parts are corresponded to the model
